I am sure many will buy it but how many will be still using it after Christmas??...great novelty item for the Christmas party..but how long do you reckon the novelty will last?
My fav is people wanting it to control movies and dashboard that novelty will be the shortest lived imo

Been there done that had trials of topaq for over a year on ps3
and the novelty of controlling the ball and menus with hand and body gestures wears of real quick.
Luckily the main reason I got he pseye back then was to video chat back with family in England and the game was a $5 download..all in all spent $40 to discover I don't want to be the controller.

Hmm I always thought 360 fanboys bragged about the 10m lead 360 had when PS3 launched.
When the day comes the PS3 surpasses worldwide sales of 360 it will be astonishing considering the hate that the US and UK gaming press rained on Sony for several years about the PS3.
Make no mistake they wanted the PS3 fail just like the Dreamcast did in the PS2 era.

wait till you see sackbots customized in dlc costumes that were once only for the player to wear, incorporated in themed levels. Think Metal Gear, Marvel, Pirates of Caribbean and Sonic.
Media Molecule have opened up a gold mine for dlc costumes because they have real purpose now in building levels
Myself I may get the full ghostbusters pack now and see what level I can design

I have had ps eye for at least 2 years and played games like Trials of Topaq which to me looks better than 95% of Kinect launch games and cost a princely $5....it was great for a couple of hours until the novelty wore off...just like I predict most consumers will feel about Kinect(but that's a tad more expensi...
Could be they are being reviewed as if they should be giving 10 hours game play.
Surely games like these are designed to be pick up and play fun...and the replay comes from beating scores...you know just like you would in the arcade!
